Arròs Negre

Back cover design for Arròs Negre fanzine, in collaboration with Pablo Funcia. The theme for this issue was the paradox, 

so we decided to create a visual paradox by designing a back cover with a hidden message. Hundreds of lines partially show 

the message (History loves paradoxes), which is only visible from far away.

He tenido el placer de diseñar, junto con Pablo Funcia, la contraportada del último número del fanzine Arròs Negre, un proyecto

editorial muy interesante nacido en Valencia hace un año. Este nuevo número gira en torno a la paradoja, por lo que decidimos

crear una paradoja visual; un mensaje oculto compuesto de cientos de líneas. Este es visible tan sólo cuando el lector observa 

la contraportada a cierta distancia, rompiendo así con la legibilidad propia de un texto y dificultando la correcta transmisión 

del mensaje.

The Invisibility of Design

Finally I can show you the photos of my final studies project The Invisibility of Design. The relationship between Design and

Society. It's a investigation about what perception has Spanish society about Design and what might be the causes of a certain

invisibility of the profession. The photo above shows the publication of the theoretical part. I bind it myself as you can see in

the photo below; the sewing part is hidden by the cover.

The project also has a practical part which consists on three booklets which summarize the main keys of the investigation.

In the photos below you can see the first booklet which is titled Design (Non-) Perception and it shows designers and non-

designers opinions. The layout and the design both show the duality between both groups and how they agree and disagree

at some points. As I don't want you to get bored of so many photos I'll post the pics of the others booklets another day.

Keep on working

Another sneak peak of the process of my final studies project. When designing, I usually make small prototypes to see if
